Inuk is a highly imaginative seven-year-old Inuit boy who lives with his family in the Arctic. Destined to become a shaman, Inuk has special magical powers. His world revolves around his family, particularly his younger sister Panik. Surrounded by his best friends Kimik, the husky and leader of the sled dogs, Nanuk, the polar bear, Akina the killer whale, Qilalugaq the beluga and Ukpik, the arctic owl, Inuk's days are filled with adventures, games and the occasional problem.
