Details: Razawa is a Kurdish-Canadian who works as a Doctor at the Regina Community Health Clinic. After taking her training for the second time, she was licensed and now works with many new Canadians. Razawa is happy to be practicing medicine knowing that her son Barzanny will be given opportunities that she could never have dreamed of living in Iraq under Saddam Hussein's genocidal rule. Barzanny is a precocious young man working on his science project with a super-advanced microgenerator. His mother isn't sold on the idea, but she has learned to humour her son's ambitions. Razawa is a tough story that reveals the horrors of Kurdish genocide but also reveals the power of positivity and humour as a means to overcoming personal tragedy.
